Tethered drones are unmanned aerial systems connected to ground power sources via cables, possessing prolonged hovering capabilities. These drones can conduct extended flight missions within designated areas without concerns over energy depletion, thereby enabling long-duration aerial surveillance, communication relay, and data collection operations. Such systems are particularly suitable for disaster emergency response, border patrols, security at large-scale events, and environmental monitoring, providing critical aerial support during pivotal moments.
Typical characteristics

Adaptive drone

Functional characteristics
1). Automated cable reel in&out function: Passive wire reel out, long press the button to automatically reel in cable, and backup battery to activate cable reel in function in case of power cut off.
2). Protection function: Strong and weak current separation design. Input overvoltage and undervoltage protection. Output overvoltage, output overcurrent, output short circuit, output over temperature protection, fault elimination and self recovery.
3). Equipment portability: With a backpack design, the backpack can be equipped with a complete tethering system that includes a tethering box, onboard power supply, and other accessories. The overall weight is 5.0 ± 0.2kg.
4). 1800W/3500Wh outdoor mobile power bank or 1200W/2.5L generator is recommended.
