Tethered drones are also utilized for temporary illumination. In scenarios such as nighttime construction operations and emergency disaster relief, they can carry high-power lighting equipment aloft to provide extensive illumination coverage. Compared to traditional lighting vehicles, they offer a broader illumination range and are not constrained by terrain limitations.
1.Typical characteristics
1). Small size, light weight. It is easy to carry. Rapid deployment.
2). Simple operations, the entire process of drone taking off and landing does not require the operation of ground module.
3). Comprehensive input /output protection,fault elimination and self recover.
4). Fully automatic take up and pay off function, the wire can be rewound once ground power cut off.
5). The air module power supply has a constant voltage output, and the back up battery has no charging and discharging phenomenon.
2. Adapt to drones
1). Supporting flight altitude: ≥100m/200m (tethered cable length 110m/220m, reserve safe length.)
2). Supporting takeoff weight: 10~15kg (UAV force effect varies, this data is for reference only.)
3). Supporting flight duration: ≥24h (The system can support working hours depending on the structure of the UAV and the electrical fatigue resistance.)
3. Functional characteristics
1). Protection function: Separate design for strong and weak electricity. Input over-voltage, input under-voltage. Output over voltage ,output over current, output circuit, output over temperature protection, input and output voltage resistance≥3000VDC, tethered cable insulation voltage esistance≥3500VDC.
2). Data communication: Wired and wireless communication function. Support remote display and control, client-side data viewing and downloading.Optional fiber optic communication.
3). Data display function: The touch screen displays data such as output voltage, output current,output power, cable outlet length, working duration, installation temperature, total power consumption, fault record, and working status information.
4). Set and adjustment: The display screen supports setting and adjustment the parameters such as reel in/out tension and speed, date and time, output voltage, safety lengths, warning temperature, etc., and support Chinese and English.
5). Alerts and reminds: When the system malfunctions, the display screen scrolls to display fault information, and the buzzer strong sound reminder.
6). Automatic take-up and payoff: Following take off and landing of the drone to synchronously tethered cable automated winch reel in/out, adjusting the tension auto management, and backup battery to activate cable reel in function in case of power cut off.
7). Carry and transport: The ground module is equipped with a handle and foot pads. folding trailer and trolley wheels is optional for transportation.
8). Power supply 5800W/7000Wh outdoor mobile power bank or 4300W/6L gasoline inverter generator is recommended.
