5. Will the tether cable be able to transfer data?
The power line is only use for power supply purpose.
But if you order an optoelectronic composite cable, which contains tightly packed single-mode fiber optic, it can transfer data.

7. Why automated winch reel is important?
1). Ensure flying safe.
It has an automatic tension management system.The tension can be set. When the drone takes off, the balanced tension ensure that the UAV is not affected by cable pulling force, thereby increasing the power consumption of the drone.
When the drone goes down for landing, the tension needs to be increased to ensure that the cable is reeled into the mechanical spool, avoiding the cables from falling to the ground, increasing the resistance to cable retraction and the power consumption of the drone.
In addition, the cables should be kept in a straight state to avoid being entangled by propeller blades and affecting flight safety.
