What are tethered Drone System Applications?

The tethered UAV can be applied in situations and environments that require long-time operation, making up for the shortcomings of short endurance time, faster power consumption with more mounts, and the need for frequent battery replacement. It expands the industry application of UAV.

The most common use of tethered quadcopters is to provide a persistent surveillance capability for situational awareness. tethered drones are used for ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance), disaster response, event management and security, traffic monitoring and a variety of other applications.
